Three months! THE BOY, THE BOAT, AND THE BEAST is coming out in only three short months! So, of course, that calls for a celebration and… a giveaway.
To celebrate, I’m really excited to reveal the animated version of the cover for THE BOY, THE BOAT, AND THE BEAST!
I was thrilled when I saw the cover Simon & Schuster did for this book. Designed by the fantastic art director Laurent Linn and illustrated by the amazing Justin Hernandez, the cover perfectly captures the tone, eeriness and magic of this story. Recently, my wonderful and hugely talented husband, visual effects artist Jamie Clark, brought the cover even more to life with this animated version…
I love it and will admit I’ve stared at it a LOT when I should’ve been working. You can too. Go ahead. I won’t tell. 😉
Giveaway!
No celebration is complete without gifts, so to celebrate this three-month pre-versary of the release of THE BOY, THE BOAT, AND THE BEAST I’m giving away a signed Advanced Reader Copy of the book, a bookmark featuring this stunning cover (non-moving, I’m afraid, this isn’t Hogwarts afterall) and a comfort square, like the one the Boy has in his pocket when he wakes up alone on this spooky, scary beach.
For your chance to win, all you have to do is share this animated cover on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or any other public place where you like to hang out online, and/or subscribe to my enewsletter, and post your entries in the Rafflecopter giveaway below. The giveaway ends at midnight on April 8, and you can enter as many times as you’d like.
Also, THE BOY, THE BOAT, AND THE BEAST is already available for pre-order at loads of amazing stores, so take your pick and order your copy to make sure you get it on June 26: IndieBound, Powell’s, Book Depository, Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Target, Walmart and my fabulous local indie bookstore BookPeople.
