Book Birthday Bash

The Key of Lost Things by Sean EasleyHappy Book Birthday to THE KEY OF LOST THINGS!

In this middle-grade novel, The Hotel Between–along with its new Concierge-in-Training Cam–is in danger once again. Cam’s blood brother Nico keeps sending strange messages in the form of annoying pranks on the Hotel, leaving Cam and his twin sister Cass to try and figure out Nico’s message before a birthday bash for a mysterious admiral turns into a fight for the Hotel’s very existence. It doesn’t help either when Cam learns that Cass may also be up to no good. Now Cam must set out to prevent Cass and Nico from endangering the Hotel and keep it from falling into the hands of Mr. Stripe and his horrible magic. If he fails, The Hotel Between could be lost. Forever.

We’re so happy you’re at our party for THE KEY OF LOST THINGS. Join in the fun…

PARTY LOCATION…

This is a worldwide party, accepting all people (even those who hide out in mysterious, secret in-between places). We’re throwing tomatoes in Buñol, Spain, taking a gondola through Venice, swinging down a zip line in the Amazon, and chilling with the penguins at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. Oh, and don’t forget the deck party on a ship in the South Pacific!

PARTY SOUNDS…

Russian rock opera, steel drums from the Caribbean, and Nightvine wind chimes are on tap for the event, and the Bollywood dance crew are putting on a 40’s themed mobster show in the Hotel Arkade later on.

PARTY FOOD…

Chef Silva has prepared his famous tres leches cakes, and pre-dinner snacks will include fried ants from Catatumbo and Vietnamese phō, as well as heaping helpings of a strange, enormous fruit that came from somewhere very mysterious…

PARTY GAMES…

Cards! Only, the playing cards we have are stuck to the backs of live cats with magic glue, and you have to chase down every last one of them and catch them in a bag. Make sure you catch all fifty-two, though, or else you might miss something very important.
